“Aliens crash land on Earth with only one thing on their mind in “They Came from Outer Space” and a tribe of amazon women fight off treasure seekers in “Amazon Women and the Nazi Gold. When Drive-Ins Attack! is an anthology series featuring stories inspired by B-movie cinema. The key ingredients for a good drive-in story are boobs, blood, beasts, and blazing gun.“
I highly believe that the guys putting out these comics have the best sense of the B-Movie style. Reading over this issue and then going back and looking at what I had to say about issue #4, they just know how to capture it and bundle it all up into this awesome package.

Both stories in this issue and just fantastic visually. They both have these super cool intro/movie poster starts. Neither lets up for second on quality. It’s just all so well done. Hidden in the middle is another cool mock movie poster, which needs to be for sale with the rest of them, because I want to put them up all over my house.
Story: 3.8 out of 5
The first story, “They Came From Outer Space” is just spot on all the way through. I just loved it. The ending was just wicked and twisted, and that’s what I want, something unexpected and yet funny. “Amazon Women and the Nazi Gold” was a completely different style though. It played more on a jungle story which wasn’t really horror based but does carry on the low budget film style. All around great work.

Two issues down and I just love this series. These creators all know what there doing when it comes to this particular style they are trying to recreate. I highly recommend grabbing #1 and #4 so far, only because I haven’t had a chance to look at #2 &3. I don’t think they will let you down if you a fan of the genre.
